Although Lisa was born on the other side of the Humber, she has happily made Hull her home and is a major asset to The Rowans. Six of her 14 years of experience in care have been at management level and she uses this expertise to lead by example. Her single aim is to ensure that the best possible care is delivered at all times and she achieves this by fully supporting staff in their training and daily roles. Lisa, who has an NVQ Level 4 in Care, Dementia Care Mapping and is working towards her Leadership and Management Award, knows the importance of skills development, but she also recognises that care is still a vocation. In her leisure time, Lisa enjoys home improvements, holidays in Britain and absolutely adores her cat and dog – and husband! She is also a well-practised bargain-hunter.
