Dave has worked in the social care sector for eight years, in a variety of different settings which means he has a broad range of experience. He is a very open and approachable manager and an enthusiastic mentor. Always looking for fresh ideas, his innovative approach to care management ensures that the home continues to deliver a first-class service to residents who enjoy a full and enriched life. Dave is a very keen musician, playing the drums in a band since the age of 12 and enjoying performing at every opportunity. He shares this love by promoting music therapy in the home which is thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Animal-assisted therapy is another passion and he is currently exploring the opportunity to introduce this as well. With a degree in Business Studies, an NVQ Level 4 Leadership and Management, NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care, NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and ILM Level 3 in First Line Management, Dave is highly qualified. When he isn’t playing the drums, he pursues his interest in cars and has managed to combine this with travel to enjoy a 3000 mile road trip from Las Vegas to Seattle. New York, Russia and Australia are next on the agenda!
