Jo who has lived in the area all her life started in the care sector at the age of nineteen and has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge joining Hica in 2009, taking the roll of manager at Riverside Grange in October 2011. Jo feels she has grown as a Manager with the support network Hica provides, giving her the opportunity to train in Dementia Mapping and Leadership and Management. Jo has clear goals and is determined that person-centred care is a priority and promotes this at this specialist home. Jo is enjoying creating a place where people with complex dementia needs can live their lives in a positive and fulfilling way. Jo enjoys holidays with both her family and friends and at the last count there will be eleven going on the next family holiday. Jo is a huge football fan and can be found on the terraces at Hull City with her husband on a Saturday afternoon.
