Mark, who has lived in Hull all of his life, joined HICA in 1996 and hasn’t looked back since. He has worked in a number of our care homes, but counts Isaac Rob, as it is affectionately known, as the place he is most happy. Anyone who knows the home will tell you that Mark is an exceptional manager, as well as a great team player. He is very well liked and takes immense pride in making sure fun plays a large part of daily life in this comfortable, supportive and lively home for adults with a learning disability. Mark has an NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and his Registered Managers Award. This modern, exemplary manager, loyal colleague and caring mentor is a credit to his profession. Happily married, Mark has two children and is a huge Hull Kingston Rovers fan. He also enjoys family camping trips, playing badminton, walking, mountain biking and scrambling.
