As a manager, Cleethorpes-born Kay is supported and respected by her highly focused team. In return, she supports and respects this team in their daily tasks. Two decades of experience in community nursing have given Kay a strong foundation in care, but also highlighted her love of working with people. Alongside her nursing qualifications, Kay is a Dementia Care Mapper, has a Registered Managers Award and NEBS Certificate of Management. Kay is obviously well trained for the role, but her personality and character are what make her such a popular manager, capable mentor and strong leader. When she is not at work she can be found in her wellies tending to her vegetables, fruit and chickens, or in the kitchen making preserves and baking. Family-oriented Kay has also recently discovered the joys of running and frequently takes long runs around Cleethorpes.
