Anne was born in Uganda, brought up in Kenya and finally arrived on our shores at the age of 11 when she attended boarding school in Oxford. Sixth form was spent in Leicester and nurse training in Doncaster before this intrepid traveller settled on Lincolnshire – she hasn’t looked back since. With a decade of management experience in both nursing and residential care settings, Anne is an extremely capable and equally committed manager. This skill and dedication is only surpassed by her energy, creativity and empathy, making her popular with staff, residents and relatives alike. With a special interest in dementia care, Anne is always looking to improve her skills and knowledge, but she is also a highly supportive mentor. Her dedication to care is second-to-none and Alderlea is fortunate to have her at the helm. Anne is a Registered Nurse, holds a Registered Managers Award and is an A1 NVQ Assessor. At home, she shares a house with two dogs, a cat, a rabbit and two children!
