Donna has worked with older people in a residential setting for over 16 years. She joined Albemarle in 1999 and her skills and dedication were quickly appreciated, allowing Donna to progress to manager in 2006. An experienced and enthusiastic leader, Donna is a strong advocate of person-centred care and she champions quality in every aspect of the care service. Leading by example, her hands-on approach makes her accessible, highly willing and very well-liked. Donna’s accreditations include NVQ Level 4 in Management Skills, VRQs in Dementia and Medication, D32/D33 Assessor Awards and Registered Managers Award. Donna was born and raised in Hull and is a very keen supporter of the Hull Stingrays ice hockey team. She has a daughter, an ice hockey-playing son, three adorable grandsons and is ‘mum’ to four very special dogs.
